Tell us a bit about your new role
I am a finance broker for Teal Finance, a sister company of JaeVee. This involves me connecting with lenders and developers/borrowers on a daily basis to ensure I provide the best finance options for them and their projects, whether that be development finance, bridging loans, commercial projects and many more.
I will also be continuing contact throughout the buying and developing process communicating with everyone to ensure exchange and completions are as smooth as possible for everyone involved.
What are you most looking forward to?
I’m really looking forward to being a part of the team and watching the business grow and grow even bigger than it already is. Contributing to the success will be hugely special to me.
What drew you to us?
How successful you've been over the last 2 years alone and the fact it is continuously growing - this excites me massively. And the atmosphere in the office is second to none.
First impressions?
Enthusiastic and hard working.
What motivates you?
Providing clients with the best service and receiving that feedback from them. To be praised for your efforts really makes everything worthwhile. Also seeing the company expand and grow and being a part of that motivates me.
Who is your favourite superhero and why?
I’m not really one who is a superhero fan, however, looking at it from a different perspective - for example an athlete who inspires me definitely has to be Stephen Curry. He is the point guard for the Golden State Warriors and when he was young he was told due to his height he would never make it but he never gave up and continued to work hard. Now he is currently the top scorer for 3 point baskets and the highest paid point guard in the NBA now.
If you have a dream, work hard, never give up. Each no you get is one step closer to that yes and one day your dream will become reality.
What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?
My perfect weekend consists of playing pool at the pub over a few pints whilst watching the football - then home to eat cheese and crackers and sleep.
Do you have a secret talent that no one knows about?
Sometimes I can whistle through my nose.
Do you have a favourite quote?
Everything will be alright in the end and if it’s not alright it is not yet the end.
Do you know any random facts?
I know many - the average person will spend 6 months of their life waiting for red lights to turn green.
Favourite band and type of music?
Luke Combs - I’m a country bumpkin at heart.
What's your favourite biscuit?
This is a no brainer for me - a custard cream all the way.
