Introducing Ethan Mathews

Could you tell us a bit about your role?

Digital marketing. Very involved and fortunately allows for an incredible amount of variety in what it entails. Can't believe it's been two years already!

What do you enjoy most?

Definitely the range that comes with the work I do. Also having the opportunity to work with everyone in the office, there's no place like it.

What drew you to JaeVee?

Initially it was an apprenticeship, JaeVee gave me a chance and it all grew from there.

First impressions?

A friendly group of people to be working with, and a whole lot to learn. The team's changed over the years, but the atmosphere remains the same.

What motivates you?

In general, not knowing what lies in store. Big fan of change, so not knowing what you'll experience in the coming days, weeks and months, where the smallest things can change your entire trajectory, keeps me motivated. The future's potential, I suppose.

Who's your favourite superhero?

Nightwing, no doubt. 

When you're not working, what do you enjoy doing?

Have always enjoyed reading, so it's something I'm happy to be putting more time back into. Enjoy being around family, a bit of running, nothing too spectacular. Would definitely like to travel more. 

Got a secret talent that no one knows about?

Not that I know of.

Do you have a favourite quote?

'If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.' 

Know any random facts?

The length of your foot is the same as the length of your inner forearm. Not that it comes up too much, but hasn't been wrong yet.

Favourite band / artist and song?

Currently either Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Gotta be either 'If I Had A Gun' or 'Sail On'. 

And finally, what's your favourite biscuit?

Fox’s Crunch Cream. Heading into the top tier there.
